(short answer) “the rhinoceros” is what we call absurd fiction. what are some things in this story that seemed absurd? ( in "the rhinoceros" people start seeing rhinos in the street. people begin changing into rhinos and our main character feels pressure to do the same. he is determined not to conform just because everyone else is doing it.)
