As i stepped into the arena, i looked dizzily around me at all of the people who were staring intently at me. the noise of the crowd buzzed in my ears like an angry beehive. at the far end of the arena i saw two doors that looked identical. it would be impossible to know what was behind either door with the roar of the crowd. i knew my fate was in the hands of luck. i knew i could easily pick the door with the tiger. i needed to know my fate quickly. i began to walk straight toward the doors. the distance that seemed so far when i first stepped into the arena seemed to disappear the moment i started walking. in an instant i was at the door.
