Guys, you know me, you know that there isn’t a device that i can resist. new technology! yippee! bring it on. but when i heard that they are soon going to bring cell-phone service to the subway tunnels i gasped. (okay, maybe it wasn’t a gasp, but it sure was a sigh! ) are you really going to unleash at least twenty-five cell-phone calls in a crowded train at rush hour? why can’t people just make their calls on the subway platform before they get on the train? this is one case where just because we can do it, does it really need to be done? what is the purpose of this blog? to instruct and teach readers to advertise local businesses or products to offer technical explanations to persuade readers toward the writer’s point of view

The writer likes technology very much but he/she  does not agree with a new cell-phone service they will bring  to the subway tunnels. He/ She wants the readers to agree with him/ her . The writer persuades the readers to think that the new service will make the journey by subway  during rush hour extremely uncomfortable. He /She uses rhetorical questions. First, the reader can imagine the situation in a crowded train through the question. Second, he / she suggests what travellers should do with their cell phones.
