Empirical evidence is defined as the data and information obtained by creating assumptions over a specific topic, observing the collected data and experimenting to prove or disprove a theory.

empirical evidence is received through the senses. So its information or an observation you got through the senses. The senses are sight, taste, touch, feel, and sound. So if you saw a blue ball, you got that information through the empirical evidence.
