It's a Good Life is a short science fiction/horror story written by American author Jerome Bixby.

Third-person point of view is used throughout the short story.

A point of view tells us the narrator's position in retelling the events and describing the characters. A third-person point of view shows us that the narrator is outside of the story. The narrator will use character's full names, as well as he/she and his/her pronouns when talking about characters.
