Stereotypes in high school and why they are/are not true

One I can think of is dumb jock, which could be true and not true; For the most part though its just a sterotype, most "jocks" in highschool do work hard to keep their grades up and excell in class so they can stay on the team. But, there are also jocks who are quite dumb and should be failing, but instead they cheat, lie, make other (typically weak nerds, another steroptype) do the work.

jenkins wanted the narrator to write a ghost story for his magazine. he wanted the narrator to give the readers a story based on the supernatural. he wanted him to give the readers real 'horror' stories and not the type of live ghosts which he had presented in his earlier stories.
