In mla style, his should the entries on a works cited page be ordered?

In MLA style, the entries on a works cited page is to be ordered alphabetically using the last names of the authors (or editors). However, if the cited work has no author or editor, the first word of the title (other than the articles - a, an, the) is used instead of the author or editor's last name.
