We were returning after the football match late in the evening. as we were walking down the rather lonely road, we heard footsteps behind us, like we were being followed. my brother and I turned around and saw nothing but a stray cat. "it was just a cat", I said. "anyways, how did you like the game?" "the game was pretty intense. I can't believe we won! and about the cat, I'm kind of spooked now, so do u just wanna run the rest of the way home?" said my brother. "sure! beat ya there!" so we did just that. a friendly competion between two football brothers. but after minutes of running, we were out of breath. just then we heard the footsteps one again, but now they were louder. "come on! run as fast as you can!" said my brother. we knew we were being watched and followed. after a while, we reached our destination. home sweet home. but before opening the door, they made sure they lost the stalker. they saw nothing and no one so they went inside and everything was normal again. they went about the rest of the night as if nothing had happened. sure, they were kind of scared since nothing like that happened before, but they knew they were safe now.
