Project: Researching Materials, Time, and Cost for Product Modifications Assignment Directions

When a client approaches an engineer about a project, the engineer might not have all of the information available to create a bid proposal. The engineer might need to research time, cost, and materials needed to complete the project. Take a moment to think of an everyday object. It could be a stapler, a fork, or even a shoe. You must choose two of the three analyses (time, cost, or materials) to research for your chosen object. Once you have completed the research, you will present the documentation and explain your findings in a script for a 3- to 5-minute oral presentation. Remember that a bid proposal is intended to persuade a client to use your services, so be sure to use persuasive techniques to convince your audience to choose your bid proposal.

Assignment Guidelines

Each script for a 3- to 5-minute presentation must include two of the following:

cost analysis
materials analysis
time analysis
Each analysis must include graphic representation.

Submission Requirements

One to two pages double spaced

Proper grammar and vocabulary

Question # 1

File Upload
Upload your presentation that demonstrates your analyses from your research on time, cost, and/or materials for your object (choose two).
