A two-stage compression refrigeration system operates with refrigerant-134a between the pressure limits of 1.4 MPa and 0.10 MPa. The refrigerant leaves the condenser as a saturated liquid and is throttled to a flash chamber operating at 0.6 MPa. he flash chamber is maintained at the same pressure as the low pressure discharge which is 0.6 Mpa. The vapor in the flash chamber is then compressed to the condenser pressure by the high-pressure compressor, and the liquid is throttled to the evaporator pressure. Assume the refrigerant leaves the evaporator as saturated vapor and both compressors are isentropic. Consider a mass flow rate of 0.19 kg/s through the condenser. (Take the required values from saturated refrigerant-134a tables.)
Determine the coefficient of performance.
The coefficient of performance is .

Refrigerant 134a enters an insulated compressor operating at steady state as saturated vapor at -26°c with a volumetric flow rate of 0.18 m3/s. refrigerant exits at 9 bar, 70°c. changes in kinetic and potential energy from inlet to exit can be ignored. determine the volumetric flow rate at the exit, in m3/s, and the compressor power, in kw.
