the water through the cycle is 125 kg/s, determine
(a) the net power produced in the cycle, (30 points)
(b) the thermal efficiency of the cycle, and (10 points)
(c) BONUS: the maximum possible efficiency for a power cycle under these conditions. (10
points)

Part 2: This basic Rankine cycle now has a turbine of isentropic efficiency of 0.8 while the pump
has an isentropic efficiency of 0.7. The mass flowrate is still 125 kg/s. Determine
(d) the net power produced in the cycle, and (25 points)
(e) the thermal efficiency of the cycle. (15 points)
