The gear train on the left is made up of the three gears. Gear "A" has 24 teeth while "B" has 8 and C has 16. What is the gear ratio of this gear train if "A" is the driver and "C" is the follower?

For every clockwise turn of gear "A" calculate the number of turns and the direction of motion gears "B" and "C".
