A gaseous stream containing 20.0 mole% ethanol and 80.0 mole% air is to be cooled from 60.0 degrees celsius to 9.65 in a condenser at the constant pressure of 1 atm to liquefy some of the ethanol. The gas stream entering the condenser has a pressure of 1.00 atm, flows at a rate of 10.0 mole/s at 60.0 degrees, is well above the saturation temperature (42.4 degrees celsius). As a result of the cooling, 1.75 mole/s of liquid ethanol (Tbp = 78.5 degrees) leaves the condenser as a liquid stream in addition to a gas stream containing all of the materials which were not liquefied. What is the rate of heat transfer in the condenser?
Show: flow chart, energy balance, reference state, and enthalpy table.
For ethanol: Cp = 0.06134 as a gas
Cp = 0.1031 as a liquid
For air: Cp = 0.02894 kJ/ (mol. degress celsius)
NOTE: ALL TEMPERATURE VALUES ARE IN CELSIUS

Slip occurs via two partial dislocations because of (a) the shorter path of the partial dislocation lines; (b) the lower energy state through partial dislocations; (c) the charge balance.

Water at the rate of 1 kg/s is forced through a tube with a 2.5 cm inner diameter. the inlet water temperature is 15°c, and the outlet water temperature is 50°c. the tube wall temperature is 14°c higher than the local water temperature all along the length of the tube. what is the length of the tube?
