The impedance of the high voltage winding of a single phase, 50-KVA 2400: 240 V, 60 Hz distribution transformer is 0.72 + j0.92 Ω, the low voltage winding impedance is 0.0070 + j0.0090 Ω. The total magnetization impedance Zm (Rc and jXm in parallel) at rated voltage and frequency is given as 6.32 + j43.7 Ω (from the low voltage side). a) Draw the equivalent circuit according to the high voltage side and show all the parameters on the equivalent circuit.

b) Draw the equivalent circuit according to the low voltage side and show all the parameters on the equivalent circuit.

c) Calculate the current flowing through the magnetizing impedance (Zm) when a 2400 V voltage is applied to the high voltage side, according to the equivalent circuits in items a and b.
