Design Your speaker has two acoustic drivers, a woofer (low frequencies) and a tweeter (high frequencies). The impedance of the woofer looks like the series connection of a 10Ω resistance and a 1.2mH inductance (the speaker coil). The tweeter looks like the series connection of a 12Ω resistance and a 10uH inductance. Explain why we can ignore the inductance of the tweeter in our crossover design, but not the inductance of the woofer. Since your crossover filter would like to see a constant resistive impedance, design a Zobel Network to compensate the woofer so that it looks like a constant 100 from 20Hz to 20kHz. Show your calculations below and a schematic of the compensated woofer.
