5/98 The two rotor blades of 32‐in. radius rotate counterclockwise with a constant angular velocity ω = ˙ θ = 2 rad / sec ω=θ˙=2 rad/sec about the shaft at O mounted in the sliding block. The acceleration of the block is aO = 10 ft/sec2. Determine the magnitude of the acceleration of the tip A of the blade when (a) θ = 0, (b) θ = 90°, and (c) θ = 180°. Does the velocity of O or the sense of ω enter into the calculation?
