What is the main difference between a thermoset (ts) and a thermoplastic (tp) polymer? a thermoset polymer can be recycled whereas a thermoplastic polymer cannot. thermoplastic polymers generally have a stiffness 2-3 times higher than thermosets. thermoplastic polymers are generally used for fabrics whereas thermosets are not. a thermoset polymer chemically degrades when heated excessively whereas a thermoplastic polymer does not. none of the above
