If i can live with a 3% probability of failure, select a ball bearing design (independent of shaft diameter that will carry a 120 ib load at 3000 rpm. how long can i expect the selected bearing to perform satisfactorily? how long can i expect it to last if i run it at the static load rating for the bearing?
