Counting Exchanges and Comparisons with Selection Sort Click Reset and write down on the homework template the data set that is generated. Now repeatedly click Step until the animator completes its task of sorting the data. As you do this, keep track of how many exchanges are made (Step 9) and how many comparisons (Step 6) are made. Do this for each pass, and then get the two totals for the entire sorting.
