no you should not because all you are doing is telling people your name i did not use a cool phrase like did

3) through pm, tell the admin what you want to change to

4) if the username is allowed, it will be changed in a matter of seconds (minutes at most)

i've had the same problem. i generally just ignore it, as a ton of these "verified answers" are completely wrong.
