MODULE ACTIVITY- 01 Analysis: Given the following scenarios. Identify the type of diagram that is best suited for the job/situation. Justify your answer in a paragraph with at least 3 sentences. Write your answers in your TLE-EPAS Notebook: (Copy the questions and give your answers).

Scenario 1: An electronic technician has been given a job to repair a washing machine. The technician needed to know the electrical path of the current through the various parts of the washing machine since each washing machine differs depending on the manufacturer. Given the situation, what specific type of diagram is suited for the job required?

Scenario 2: An electronics programmer is currently assembling a project. Using the computer, he is designing an algorithm for a simple electronic robot. What diagram is best matched for the scenario?

Scenario 3: An electronics student is currently analyzing a circuit before assembling her project. The student is a visually dependent learner, so she wanted to see the complete physical appearance of the components and circuits first before assembling it. What type of diagram will help her in assembling the project easier?

MODULE ACTIVITY- 02

True or False.

Direction: Identify if each of the given statement is True or False. Defend your answer briefly. Write your answer in your TLE-EPAS Notebook: ( Copy and answer)

1. Programming electronic devices on computers usually uses a pictorial diagram.

2. If you are trying to understand a system’s functions and create interconnections within it a flowchart diagram is best suited to use.

3. Electrical paths are best represented by lines and symbols so that it is easier to track down component connections. Thus, a schematic diagram is an appropriate choice for these types of situations.

MODULE ACTIVITY- 03

Make a block diagram of your house wiring. Track down the wiring installation and current flow from your circuit breaker to the outlet and appliances. Write down the pathway of the current on the boxes provided. Write your answer on a separate sheet of short bond paper. Add as much blocks as needed.

Note: Safety First! For safety purposes, just look at the wirings, never touch anything irresponsibly to avoid electrocution. Do the activity with the guidance of a parent or guardian.

Now you’re on your own. include a short summary of this section with plots in your lab report. write a matlab script file to do steps (a) through (d) below. include a listing of the script file with your report. 1 the soundsc(xx, fs) function requires two arguments: the first one (xx) contains the vector of data to be played, the second argument (fs) is the sampling rate for playing the samples. in addition, soundsc(xx, fs) does automatic scaling and then calls sound(xx, fs) to actually play the signal. mcclellan, schafer, and yoder, dsp first, 2e, isbn 0-13-065562-7. prentice hall, upper saddle river, nj 07458. c 2015 pearson education, inc. 4 mcclellan, schafer and yoder, signal processing first. prentice hall, upper saddle river, new jersey, 2003. c 2003 prentice hall. (a) generate a time vector (tt) to cover a range of t that will exhibit approximately two cycles of the 4000 hz sinusoids defined in the next part, part (b). use a definition for tt similar to part 2.2(d). if we use t to denote the period of the sinusoids, define the starting time of the vector tt to be equal to t , and the ending time as ct . then the two cycles will include t d 0. finally, make sure that you have at least 25 samples per period of the sinusoidal wave. in other words, when you use the colon operator to define the time vector, make the increment small enough to generate 25 samples per period. (b) generate two 4000 hz sinusoids with arbitrary amplitude and time-shift. x1.t / d a1 cos.2
