"WE ARE NOT IN THE SAME BOAT"

I heard that we are all in the same boat. BUT IT IS NOT SO ... We are in the same "storm", but not in
the same boat.
Your boat has some conditions and mine can have very different ones.
For some, quarantine is optimal: moment of reflection, of reconnection. Soft, in flip flops, with a
whiskey or tea.
For others, this is a desperate crisis and a time of great distress.
For some, a peace, a time for rest, a vacation ...
For others, torture: how am I going to pay my bills?
Some are busy choosing TV series, new learning, and reading various books.
Others are worried about the bread for the end of the week, or if the noodles are enough for a few more days ...
Some are in the "home office" of their country home.
Others are stirring up trash or surrendering the market to survive ...
Some want to go back to work because they are running out of money.
Others want to kill those who break the quarantine, because their case or close family is a high population.
risk.
Some need to break the quarantine to stand in line at the banks and take out a loan, or to go where a
friend who is going to give you money.
Others criticize the decisions that are made, and issue a thousand communications with unverified information.
Some have faith in God and wait for his miracles during this 2020.
Others say the worst is yet to come.
So, friends, we are not in the same boat.
We are passing a moment in which our perceptions and needs are COMPLETELY different
and, each one will come out of that storm in his own way ...
Some with the pool tan, others with scars on the soul. For such obvious reasons, and for others
invisible, it is very important to see beyond what is seen at first sight.
Not just looking, but more than looking, seeing. See beyond the political party, beyond religion, beyond
gender, social stratum and the navel itself.
Do not underestimate the pain of the other if you do not feel it. Don't judge one's good life, don't condemn bad life
of the other. There is simply no judge. Let us not judge so much the one who asks because he lacks, as the one who does not
supports because we believe he has more than enough ...
So I argue, "We are on different ships," each weathering the storm in his own way. So,
let us navigate each route with all the respect and dignity that corresponds to its
decisions.
Cheer up everyone! and best wishes in your direction ...
