Hefin works in a bank in london. as he arrives at the bank, he remembers the workload ahead of him. many people are in line to make deposits.
just as he reaches his desk, his colleague janine calls out to him, asking him if he could lend her a hand with a spreadsheet because it isn't
performing a calculation. hefin janine with her spreadsheet and returns to his desk to switch on his computer. he sees that a number of
print jobs are waiting on his computer because his computer is the only one with an attached laser printer. he realizes that his printer is out of
ink, and so he puts in a refill. a customer standing at his desk wants to make a cash withdrawal. hefin has to access his account to check
whether the customer's account has the required funds. however, hefin can't access the computer with the customer database. so, he asks the
customer to come back later. he checks the cables, routers, and switches, and they seem fine. now he has to call someone from the it
department to fix the problem.
