How can you use the physical properties of substances to separate mixtures?

Ok, so I will list some physical properties you can take advantage of then explain: magnetism, solubility, also density which adds onto solubility.

So basically if you have a mixture of something like idk bits of wood and bits of something magnetic like iron then you can use a big and strong magnet to separate the iron from the wood.

Solubility, so like I said this goes along with density. If you pour something non-soluble into a solution you can use filtration to get the solute out. So something along the lines of putting fresh tea leaves into a teacup. The leaves don't dissolve so you can use a filter to get them out.

Density, idk if you have ever done an experiment with oil and water where you layer the densities, well you can take advantage of that. So in the ocean fish and stuff kick up sand off the ocean floor. Eventually, the sand falls to the bottom of the ocean because it is denser than water. So yeah.
