flask (except for a very small hole) and lowered the flask into boiling water (100.0° C), allowin;
the liquid to vaporize and warm for 10 minutes. He then cooled the flask to condense the vapor
and he weighed it. Lastly, he washed the flask out, filled it with water and weighed it again.
Density of water is 1.00 g/mL
Barometric pressure = 751.3 mmHg
Mass of empty flask = 79.28 g
Flask with condensed vapor = 80.32 g
Flask with water = 347.84 g
a) Determine the pressure of the unknown vapor in atm.
