Weigh accurately between 9,8 and 10g of ferrous ammonium sulphate into a 250cm volumetric flask and dissolve it in a little deionised water. Add about 50cm' of 2M H,80 (Sulphuric acid) and
make it up to the mark. Pipette 25cm' portion of this solution into a conical flask. Titrate this with
the given potassium permanaganate solution. No indicator is required. The appearance of a
permanent pink colour of Mno, in the solution is the end point.
CALCULATIONS:
Determine the Concentration of the potassium permanganate in (a) molarity (b) g/dm'.​
