PLEASE HELP!
1. There are four stages in the conversion of sulphur into sulphuric acid.
Stage 1: Sulphur is burnt to make sulphur dioxide.
Stage 2: Sulphur dioxide is oxidised to sulphur trioxide (the Contact Process).
Stage 3: Sulphur trioxide is dissolved in sulphuric acid to form oleum.
Stage 4: Oleum is diluted with water to form concentrated sulphuric acid.
(a) State the catalyst and give the equation for stage 2 (the Contact Process).
[3]
(b) Calculate the mass of sulphur needed to make 196 kg of sulphuric acid.
[3]
(c) Give two uses of sulphuric acid.

•what conclusions can you make about the relationship between the volume of a gas and its temperature? • what conclusions can you make about the relationship between the volume of a gas and its pressure? • what possible variables have you not accounted for? as you did the procedures, is it possible that the atmospheric pressure may have changed? if it did change over the course of your experiment, then how would your results have been affected?
