During an esterification reaction, fatty acids and alcohols combine to form an ester. This is a condensation reaction and it produces water as its side product. The formulas of the reactants are:
Palmitic acid: CH₃(CH₂)₁₄COOH
Glycerol: C₃H₈O₃

Reaction equation:

3CH₃(CH₂)₁₄COOH + C₃H₈O₃ → 3H₂O + C₅₁H₉₈O₆

Most likely a is the answer - because  you generate   38 atp's but also consume an atp.   each atp gives approx. less than 4 kcal so probably a is the closest answer.

The problem here is that according to aufbau principle before 3d orbital 4s subshell comes.after filling 3p orbital with electrons you have 4 electrons left, you place two in 4s with opposite spin and the other two in 3d in any of its two orbitals of total five orbitals with the same spin.
