1. Exposure to radiation can cause cancer in humans. The radiations are so small or very penetrative that they can pass through the body and change the genetic make up of the person. strange kind of mutation can occur in animals and humans that have prolong exposure to radiation .

2 .It can cause changes in the blood of living organism , vomiting and nausea.

3. Large exposure of radiation from radioactive decay can cause immediate death in humans.

4 . The exposures to radiation can cause abnormal growth of new cell in the body.        

Explanation:

Radioactivity is when unstable nucleus of an atom of element lose energy by emitting radiation such as alpha particles, beta particles or gamma rays. When this radioactive element decays they release energy in the process. The risk of using radioactive decay outweigh the benefits because of the following reasons:
