Now that the lab is complete, it is time to write your lab report. The purpose of this guide is to help you write a clear and concise report that summarizes the lab you have just completed. The lab report is composed of four sections: Section I: Experimental Overview Provide background information. Include the hypothesis(es). Summarize the procedures. Section II: Data and Observations Summarize the data you collected in the lab guide. Include information from data tables. Include any written observations that are relevant. Section III: Analysis and Discussion Discuss any important calculations or formulas used. Identify key results, what the results indicate, and any trends in the data. Include graphs (if constructed) that display trends in the data. Provide possible reasons for any problems with the experiment, or unexpected data. Section IV: Conclusions Identify if the hypothesis(es) was (were) supported or refuted. Provide logical reasoning based on data. Explain how the experiment could be improved. To help you write your lab report, you will first answer the questions listed below by reflecting on the experiment you have just completed. Then you will use the answers to these questions to write the lab report that you will turn into your teacher

)benzene and toluene form nearly ideal solutions. consider an equimolar solution of benzene and toluene. at 20 °c the vapour pressures of pure benzene and toluene are 9.9 kpa and 2.9 kpa, respectively. the solution is boiled by reducing the external pressure below the vapour pressure. calculate (i) the pressure when boiling begins, (ii) the composition of each component in the vapour, and (iii) the vapour pressure when only a few drops of liquid remain. assume that the rate of vaporization is low enough for the temperature to remain constant at 20 °c.
