How can light from the sun cause skin cancer?

If to much UV radiation from the sun can damage the DNA in your skin cells and if enough damages your DNA and builds up it can cause cells to start growing out of control and can lead to skin cancer so thats how its cause.

A lot of Ultraviolet radiation from the sun can hurt the DNA in your skin cells. If the DNA is harmed to much over time, it can cause cells to grow too much, which can cause skin cancer.
