I don't know if this will help but. The Great Sphinx has suffered from erosion and vandalism. Hatshepsut's stepson was too young to rule at the time of her husband's death, so she just took the job.

in theory, limestone is composed principally of the compound calcium carbonate - caco3, but in reality this compound is deposited in conditions involving a number of other compounds as impurities so it ends up being a mixture of many compounds.
