Potassium is a very high reactive metal. Exposed to water, it explodes with        a purple flame. Potassium is involved in the health of cells and of blood vessels, so its reactivity has increased values, being used by scientists for blood pressure as well as lethal injection, enough could cause your heart to stop. Take bananas for example, they contain potassium, enough for humans.

the number of protons in the nucleus of a given element. has slight luster and conducts electricity at high temperatures like metal.but like a nonmetal,boron is brittle and does not conduct electricity well at low temperatures. in graphite, carbon is a soft,brittle solid.it is reflective,ductile,or malleable.
