Our solar system is made up of the Sun and the astronomical bodies that orbit it. But you may be surprised to learn that all the planets and nearly every asteroid in the solar system orbit the Sun in the same plane and in the same direction. They all move counterclockwise, if viewed from above Earth’s North Pole. What do you think caused this phenomenon?
