How many electrons are present in an atom with its 1s, 2s, 2p, and 3s subshells filled with two electrons in the 3p subshell? What is the element? Wouldn’t it be Argon?
1s=2 electrons
2s= 2 electrons
2p= 6 electrons
3s = 2 electrons
3p= 6 electrons
Total electrons is 18 which would be Ar on periodic table.. please explain why I’m wrong
