1:Without friction, we would not be able to stop walking since we would just keep slipping like on ice.

2:Without friction, objects would just slip and fall with a simple blow of air

3:And finally, without friction, we wouldn't be able to use machinery like cars and etc since they would just fly off

When you walk, friction is caused between the tread on shoes and the ground. This friction acts to grip the ground and prevent sliding. Sometimes we want to reduce friction.
