What are the similarities and differences between the three states of matter?

The differences between the three states of matter is the space between the microscopic particles of which they are made of, also known as atoms. In a solid, the particles are tightly packed together. In a liquid, the particles has no set type of arrangement of particles, taking shape

of its container. Adding on, in a gas, the particles has no fixed shape. The particles in a gas never takes place in a container and is freely loose.
