Conduction is when heat is transferred directly through a substance. For example if you put you hand on a hot plate or pan, the heat traf=nfer is called conduction.

Convection is heat transferred through fluids. For example heating water.

Radiation is the transfer of heat through radiation waves.  For exapmle the heat, warmth we get from the sun.
