Read this description of the chemistry of metal A and some of its compounds, and then answer the questions.

Metal A has no reaction with dilute hydrochloric acid or dilute sulfuric acid. It forms a black oxide, B, which reacts with hot dilute nitric acid to give a colorless gas, E, and another blue solution, F. The colorless gas, E, turned limewater milky. 3 State the names of A, B, C, D, E and F. Write equations for the reactions between: B and dilute sulfuric acid i D and dilute nitric acid.
