A) compute the total flux released from 1 g of spherical salt nanoparticles in water having an ssa of 100 m2/g.
b) assume that the nanoparticles diameter is constant, satp conditions and that the concentration of salt far away from the particles is always 0. how much g of nanoparticles would you need if the total flux remains constant and the nanoparticle diameter is 1 um?
c) how much g of material would you need if you replace the nanoparticles with nanofiber having an ssa of 100 m2/g (assuming that the length to diameter ratio of the nanofibers is very large)?
solubility in water = 35.9 g/100ml at 25°c
molar mass = 58.44 g/mol
= 2.165 g/cm3
diffusion coefficient of nacl = 1.33 × 10-5 cm2/sec
