Astudent is studying the temperature changes that occur in water when different types of solute, and different masses of a particular solute, are dissolved in it. study 1 the student began with four flasks containing 100.0 ml of water each. she took 2.00 g each of four different chemical compounds and dissolved each compound in a different flask. the initial temperature of the water and the compounds was 25.0°c. the flasks of water showed changes in temperature after the compounds were dissolved in them. these changes are shown in the bar graph below.
