The eventual fate of many discarded water bottles is that they end up in streams, lakes, oceans, seas, and other bodies of water. And because the bottles are made of non-biodegradable plastic, they take a long time to break down. From there, they either pollute or kill. This is why we should not pollute, we can kill our planet. Just don't do it. :)

So when we discard a water bottle randomly, it may find places like soil, rivers, lake, oceans etc.

The eventual fate is cause of pollution.

They may cause serious problems in the BOD of water resources as they may float over the water surface.

They may enter in the body of animals feeding on the soil (like cow feeding on waste material) or aquatic animals like fishes.
