How is the bore atomic model different from the plum putting model

In order to explain the atomic structure of an atom different models were proposed based on assumptions and experiments.

Let us discuss the two asked models

a) Plum Pudding model : the model was proposed by Thomson. According to this model the atoms was considered to be a pudding of positive particles or we can consider the positive particles as substrate in which electrons are embedded in between. The model was strongly rejected based on experiments by other scientists of the era.

b) Bohr's atomic model: This was a model based on quantum aspects unlike plum model which was a classical theory based model.

It was also explained as shell model.

Bohr compared the atomic structure to  solar system. Here the nucleus was supposed to contain the positive particles and electrons were thought to revolve around the nucleus.

So Bohr model was an entirely different approach to explain atomic structure as it was more structured / practical model. The model was based on experiments performed in Rutherford's experiment unlike plum model which was a pure theoretical concept.
