If mass is same it means the number of protons and neutrons are same

If the charge is positive or negative, it means the number of electrons are different

The number of electrons in neutral atom = A

The number of electrons in positively charged atom = A -1  [The number of protons and mass number will remains the same]

Both the atoms exhibit the same mass, thus, both the atoms comprises 6 number of neutrons, and both the atoms exhibit 6 number of protons. When one atom exhibits positive charge it signifies that there is 5 number of electrons, and when one atom exhibits a negative charge it signifies that it comprises 7 number of electrons. The carbon atom comprises 6 neutrons and 6 protons. Thus, the two different atoms could be 6C+ and 6C-, and of all the subatomic particles, the protons and neutrons are situated in the nucleus, and the electrons are situated around the nucleus.
