Answer 1) The solution can be called as Hypotonic in comparison to the control solution, only when the solution goes inside the solute/cell and increases its weight and eventually resulting in bursting of cells if present. In this case the concentration of solutes outside the cell will be less than the inside the cell

Answer 3) Isotonic solution in comparison to control solution is the one in which the water diffuses but the concentration of the solute and the cell in the solution remains constant by maintaining an equilibrium between both.
