                    T₂  =  546 K (doubled)

Solving equation 1 for P₂;

                             P₂  =  P₁ T₂ / T₁

                             P₂  =  (1 atm × 546 K) ÷ 273 K

                             P₂  =  2 atm

Result:
          Hence the pressure doubles with doubling temperature.
