In the first Project in the Unit, you created a list of expenses and created your own budget. The list of expenses will help you determine the type of career you'll need to be able to afford the lifestyle you created for yourself. For this Project, you'll need to research jobs that have an average income that meets or exceeds the amount of your monthly expenses. Next, determine the job skills you’ll need to obtain employment in that career area. Will you need to go to college, or a career technical school? If so, what do you need to do now to help assure your ability to work in that field in the future? The purpose of this exercise is to give you an idea of what it will take for you to reach your future financial goals. Many people have big dreams about the type of houses they will live in or the cars that they will drive, but they haven’t considered the work they’ll need to do to have that lifestyle. Once you’ve determined a career field that you are interested in and that you believe will help you to meet your financial goals, create a Presentation that that outlines what you need to do to meet your career and financial objectives. Be sure to give specific examples and explain what it will take to get a job in the field at a level that will meet your financial goals.

Jenny walters, who owns a real estate agency, bought an old house to use as her business office. she found that the ceiling was poorly insulated and that the heat loss could be cut significantly if six inches of foam insulation were installed. she estimated that with the insulation, she could cut the heating bill by $80 per month and the air-conditioning cost by $70 per month. assuming that the summer season is three months (june, july, and august) of the year and that the winter season is another three months (december, january, and february) of the year, how much can jenny spend on insulation if she expects to keep the property for five years? assume that neither heating nor air-conditioning would be required during the fall and spring seasons. if she decides to install the insulation, it will be done at the beginning of may. jenny's interest rate is 6% compounded monthly.
