Some of the challenges been faced by Alibaba currently as it expands globally is it logistics issues, some of it sellers or stores on the site don’t ship goods and services directly to some selected countries as buyers from such countries would need to employ the use of a third party agent, example of such countries are third world countries in Africa. In cases where option of shipping is provided shipping fees are usually to high and un affordable. Another issues faced by buyers on the platfoem is the Minimum Order Quantity MOQ as this is a big issue and serious concerns for intending customers who just need a few of the product and not the compulsory 500pcs or 1000pcs usually available to them.
