Assume that there are no fishing restrictions on the Pond. A fisherman on the pond can catch 100 fish per day if he is the only one to fish in the pond. Two fishermen can each catch 95 fish per day, and three can each catch 90 per day, four can each catch 85 per day, five can each catch 75 per day, six can each catch 65 per day, seven can each catch 55 per day, eight can each catch 40 per day, nine can each catch 25 per day, and ten can each catch 5 per day. Also assume if a fisherman was not fishing in the pond, their alternative activity will be worth 25 fish (i. e. the ‘other’ job the fisherman could be doing would pay them as well as catching 25 fish). A) How many fishermen will decide to go fish on the pond?B) How many fish will be caught per day on the pond?C) At this number of fishermen (i. e. the answer to part a), how many additional fish does this last fisherman add to the total number of fish caught per day?D) Could this be the optimal number of fishermen? Why or why not?
