What obstacles would you encounter opening a business in a free enterprise system where the competition is well-established

If the competition is well established, you would encounter issues with brand recognition, economies of scale, barriers to entry such as start up costs. Even with a "free enterprise system" there can be many barriers to entry, especially in an established market.

1   all nations face the problem of scarcity because there are limited resources and unlimited wants. nations do not have enough factors of production to produce everything that their population wants. entrepreneurial resources initiate businesses to make new goods and services; labor resources produce goods and services.
